Paperclip is an open-source platform that allows you to create and coordinate teams of AI agents to manage projects and tasks. You can assign roles, responsibilities, and goals to each agent, organize work among multiple specialized agents, and monitor their results from a single interface. You can use it to automate business processes, develop software, produce content, and manage complex projects, while maintaining control over activities and the costs of AI models.

With Ergonet's Origin® VPS, you can install Paperclip with a single click and choose your own custom domain name—even if it's hosted externally. Once complete, the application will be ready for your first login, and you can begin configuring it.

It depends on the number of AI agents you want to manage, the tasks they need to perform, and the tools they will use. A small team of agents performing simple tasks requires fewer resources than an organization with many agents operating simultaneously or one that uses development and automation tools.

If you're starting from scratch, you can begin with the VPS 1 plan and upgrade to a higher-tier plan as your project's needs grow.

The disk space on the VPS server includes approximately 5 GB used by the operating system files and the application installation and management service (Docker Manager).

The installation of Paperclip is automated, but the VPS server is self-managed and provides root access. System administration skills are required to manage the server, update applications, and make configuration changes, but you have the option to connect the VPS server to an AI service such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to simplify system administration.

The VPS server does not automatically manage email accounts. Don't worry—at Ergonet, you'll find shared hosting and email services that you can easily integrate with your Origin® VPS and Nextcloud.

VPS Origin® includes weekly backups—retained for 14 days and performed every Sunday—of your entire VPS server (snapshot) and, consequently, of all the applications it contains. If you need more frequent backups, you can also add daily backups starting at just a few euros per month.

Backups are geographically distributed in a different data center from the one that hosts the VPS service. We host all our services exclusively in Italian Tier 4 data centers, the highest certification level currently available for a data center.
