Do I have to transfer the domain from my current provider?
The modularity of our offering provides various domain management options. During the purchase process, you can decide whether to:
- transfer the domain to Ergonet immediately
- await your go-ahead to proceed with the domain transfer, for example, while awaiting the migration of website data and email accounts.
- Activate only the hosting service, without transferring the domain
If you keep your domain with an external provider, we’ll ask you to set up our nameservers so you can take full advantage of our additional services, including the CloudFlare CDN and free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates.
Is website and email account backup included?
Yes, all Valore® hosting plans include a daily backup of your hosting service’s files, databases, and email accounts. Depending on the hosting plan, we retain backup archives for 15, 30, or 60 days. Daily backups of email account contents, however, are retained for seven days on all plans.
Is it possible to access the database externally?
Yes, it is possible to access externally created databases. You will also have the option (not mandatory) to configure access for a single static IP address, thereby optimally securing access to your database.
Are email accounts also available via IMAP?
Yes, every Valore® hosting plan includes 10 email accounts with IMAP/SMTP/POP3 support.
The email platform is entirely separate from the web platform and by default includes 10GB of disk space exclusively dedicated to your email accounts. Please note that spam and trash folders are automatically cleared of messages older than 30 days.
Is it possible to purchase a dedicated IP address?
Yes, you can purchase a dedicated IP address to associate with your hosting service and, consequently, with your domain.
